Flat Branch Home Loans is teamwork. We are one unit dedicated to serving each other and our clients. A favorite quote of mine by Patrick Lencioni embodies this: “Not finance. Not strategy. Not technology. It is teamwork that remains the ultimate competitive advantage both because it is so powerful and so rare.” I love this quote because when you think of having top-notch technology, finances and strategy, you would think there is nothing more important! But what is all of that material to a company if there is no teamwork? Sounds like you might love your work, but hate your job. At Flat Branch, we empower our employees to be successful through our excellent training and resources.
Our unique culture has been a “thing” from the beginning. Since then, Jim Yankee decided to label the characteristics that make us all “Flat Branchers” no matter what department or which location.
Our core values are:
- Love - Be kind; be humble. Treat others like family.
- Grow - Strive for personal growth, and embrace company change in the pursuit of excellence.
- Exceed - Become the best at everything we do by providing over-the-top customer service.
- Enjoy - Have fun and enjoy our jobs. Don’t take ourselves too seriously.
These values reflect our culture and the relationship we have with our customers and partners. A great culture doesn’t happen automatically; it takes an engaged team. You get out what you put in, and positive energy is contagious.
We make decisions and build our company based on our core values. We want our employees to share one vision for our company: to provide the best customer service in the industry. We strive to close every loan on time to make people happy they chose Flat Branch and want to tell their friends and family about their great experience!
At Flat Branch, we talk about being family-oriented, teamwork, working hard, playing hard, and hiring the right people. It's so humbling when a new hire, after they have worked here a month or two, tells me, “Wow, I was skeptical that the culture was as great as you described it, but it is, if not better!”
It doesn’t get much better than that!
